Maternal mental health refers to a mom’s emotional, psychological, and social well-being during pregnancy, postpartum, and throughout the transition into motherhood. It includes how mothers cope with stress, adjust to identity changes, manage relationships, and navigate emotions such as joy, fear, overwhelm, anger, sadness, anxiety, or burnout during this stage of life.

Having supportive relationships can remind mothers that they do not have to carry everything alone, not failing, and not the only ones in the trenches. Being able to say “me too” or having an uninterrupted listening ear can reduce shame/guilt/loneliness/self doubt, normalize challenges, and make it easier to seek support. MaMomMama aims to create spaces for vulnerability, shared wisdom, encouragement, laughter, and rest so you can find your village.
